This is me

My name is Rens Kwakkenbos, and I study Communication & Multimedia Design (CMD) at Avans University of Applied Sciences. My interest in design is increasingly shifting toward fashion and streetwear. I draw a lot of inspiration from nature and culture, as well as from visual details in everyday life. I translate these influences into creative and distinctive concepts.

In my free time, I am often out skateboarding or playing video games. These activities fuel my creativity and give me a broad perspective on style, design, and experience. I also take sewing classes and try to learn more about clothing and the fashion world.

From February to June 2026, I will be doing an internship at the Fashion Tech Farm in Eindhoven. There, I will focus on developing practical skills, such as pattern drafting and making garments. In addition, I will develop my own style and lay the foundation for my clothing brand, Monkey Business.
